What is Hope for the Holidays?

Hope for the Holidays is about giving children more than just a gift under the tree. By sharing the love of Jesus, we are giving them the lifelong gift of hope.

We would like to invite you all to share the love of God by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of others through our Hope for the Holidays Christmas Experience. Your donations will personally provide gifts to help make their Christmas meaningful and show them the message of Jesus.

How Does it Work?

At Edgewood, parents will be escorted down to the gym where they will enjoy Christmas cookies and warm winter beverages. Afterwards, they will be paired with a shopping host to personally select gifts for their children at our free Christmas Shopping mall. Once all the shopping is complete, our volunteers will wrap their gifts, and pray with each family. Children will have their own special experience where they will enjoy crafts, snacks, and hear the Christmas story.

How Can I Serve?

There are many ways you can serve at the Hope for the Holidays Christmas Mall, including gift wrapping, prayer, kids crafts, donating gifts, and shopping inventory. Please use our online form below to sign up for the area in which you would like to serve. If you have questions, please contact Ben Blair.

How Do I Donate?

Please bring in Items (New condition Only Please) to the church no later than Sunday December 1st. Need some ideas? See our gift guide below. If you want to help out with donations but don’t know what to get, please purchase amazon or Walmart gift cards and our team will purchase the gifts on your behalf.

How Do I Register a family for the event?

We are serving 55 families this year, approximately 220 kids! Families can register using the link below. We are taking registrations on a first come first serve basis. All Families must be pre-Registered with the church prior to the event, no walkins permitted on the day of the event.

We strongly encourage all children to attend the day of the event. While parents attend our ” Free Christmas Shopping Mall” Children will have their own special experience where they will enjoy crafts, snacks, and hear the Christmas story.
